Automatic dimension assignment for invoices (projects, cost centers)

Entering invoices is not just amounts and VAT. Most companies need to assign every invoice to a project, department or cost center. Doing this tagging by hand takes time and invites errors – and it is exactly what can be automated.

The key idea: you do not tag every invoice by hand. The system handles most assignments from rules, and a person is left only with the genuine exceptions. Filling in dimensions turns from tedious manual work into a quick review.

What dimensions are in accounting

Dimensions are extra views for analyzing costs: projects, departments, cost centers, responsible people or sites. Without them it is hard to understand where money is actually spent.

How automatic dimension assignment works

Ezura assigns dimensions based on keyword rules you define. For example, if an invoice mentions a certain supplier or line description, the system automatically assigns the matching project or cost center. The more invoices processed, the more accurate the suggestions become.

Extracting any field from the invoice or email

Beyond the standard fields, Ezura can extract almost any information – from the PDF text, with AI, or both.
